Coconut Charcoal Sourdough

Coconut Charcoal Sourdough

Same bread with added coconut charcoal that produced this black crumb and a touch of sweetness.

Activated charcoal is a highly absorbent material with millions of tiny pores that can capture, bind, and remove unwanted toxins and materials from the body.

No, the bread does not taste like coconut, and by adding some extra salt, you can balance out the mild sweetness that you expect from a coconut.

High concentration organic coconut charcoal only needed 1 teaspoon per kg flour weight.

The bread recipe you could find in my earlier posts, for this coco version add 1 teaspoon of coconut charcoal to the dough.
