Greek Chicken Wrap (quick)
Chicken breast cut to strips and marinated for one hour.
The marinade:
Olive oil, majoram, oregano, lemon juice, pepper, salt, cinnamon, garlic, nutmeg, basil, fresh parsley, dill, thyme. I have also added a one third cup of white wine.
You need to balance them out, I suggest to try a little (quarter teaspoon) and add more as you taste. I did it by feel & taste.
Greek Halumi cheese cut (6mm), drizzelled with olive oil, spiced with majoram, oregano and lemon juice. Cooked on the hotplate till softens and has some colour on both sides.
The wraps I used are bought from the local supermarket, where they make them fresh daily and taste like home made.
Served with garlic tahini spread over the wrap, then added fresh lettuce, tomato, the chicken strips and grilled halumi, finished with some greek joghurt.
